solvitur ambulando

meaning:
it is solved by walking

Sir Knight Yelinek’s passion for Freemasonry and its members is rooted in his belief in its positive impact on individuals and their communities. He advocates for continuous learning and development, ensuring that all Masons have the resources needed to grow personally and enhance their communities. His motto for the Templar year, “solvitur ambulando,” meaning “it is solved by walking,” is inspired by Saint Augustine of Hippo’s response to Zeno’s paradox, which suggests that even seemingly impossible problems can be solved by taking the first step.
